RedStone acquires Headhaul
RedStone Logistics, a third-party logistics firm, has acquired Headhaul, that provides transactional shipment management services to clients with multi-modal, dry van/truckload, refrigerated, flatbed, less-than-truckload and over-dimensional shipment requirements.
The 3PL company said that Headhaul's employees will be integrated into its logistics team within the next 30 days.
Headhaul CEO Josh Wheeler said RedStone Logistics has the experience and the relationships to handle the details, allowing clients to leverage significant purchasing power and rate negotiation expertise.
"They have an experienced management team who really understands this business and has built large successful logistics companies in the past," Wheeler said.
"This transaction will allow the Headhaul team to rapidly grow into one of the premier logistics companies in North America."
Both the companies have not disclosed the financial terms of the acquisition.
